We offer many different opportunities to engage as a member. Whether you are new to the industry or have been a security management professional for decades, we have opportunities for you. 

Chapters

Chapters are the heart and soul of the ASIS community, creating professional development and networking opportunities at the local and regional level. ASIS members are assigned to one of 240+ chapters around the world.

The ASIS' Security Leaders Mentoring program offers a unique online networking and career development tool, helps you find, connect, and share experiences with others. ASIS Connects

Your trusted community for global security professionals. Standards Development

ASIS International, in its role as a Standards Developing Organization (SDO), develops standards and guidelines to serve the needs of security practitioners in today’s global environment. Through these roles and the expertise and knowledge of its members and the industry at large, ASIS plays a pivotal role to influence and impact security standards worldwide. Awards

ASIS presents awards to raise awareness of the outstanding work being done in the security management field. Through our chapter and certification awards, we recognize the creative programs, projects and initiatives taking place at the local level.

Public-Private Partnership Day

ASIS International, the National Sheriffs’ Association, and the International Association of Chiefs of Police, announce the formation of the Annual International Public Law Enforcement/Private Security Partnership Day. Public-Private Partnership Day (P3 Day) is a long-term collaborative effort between all three founding organizations. It will occur on the fourth Thursday of April every year, with the inaugural Public-Private Partnership Day occurring on Thursday, April 25, 2024. The creation of this day is intended to celebrate and foster strong and enduring partnerships between the public safety community and the private security professions.
